David Cox, spectacle frame-maker
David Cox is one of the UK's last spectacle frame makers.
He creates frames for opticians, artists, television personalities and individuals interested in one-of-a-kind spectacles. Most of the work is done by hand, using techniques passed down through generations, and honed over half a century.
Dave's services include creating replicas and prototypes, remaking broken frames, or creating an entirely new frame from a designer's specification.
With over fifty years of experience, Dave continues to make frames from his workshop in Norfolk, England.
